Verizon Foundation
We are so honored to be a part of Verizon Foundation’s grant program. Since 2000, the Verizon Foundation has dedicated technical, financial and human resources to help people in communities across the country live healthy, productive lives. Verizon focuses their efforts on two primary areas—education and literacy, and safety and health. This $25,000 grant will help SBNC’s Eastside Family Dental Clinic increase efficiency, effectiveness and reach in our community.
The Women’s Fund
On behalf of our nearly 16,000 patients, staff, volunteers, Board & Committees, SBNC is proud to have been chosen as a grantee of The Women's Fund of Santa Barbara this year. The Women’s Fund mission is “to respond to critical community needs by making substantial gifts in the Santa Barbara area. Through the power of collective philanthropy we serve as a catalyst for bringing women together with an emphasis on funding meaningful projects affecting women, children and families.” This grant in the amount of $80,000 will help SBNC provide quality, more efficient & affordable healthcare to women and children in our community.
